_____________

2015 Parish Festival

The 2015 festival was an OUTSTANDING SUCCESS, thank you to all the efforts of our volunteers and God for the nice weather.  There is so much to say about the success of such a large endeavor, but the most obvious is the generosity and hard work of the volunteers.  Our Lady of Joy Parish has a great group of dedicated volunteers that have made our parish community festival a success every year.  We wish to thank you for your hard work and dedication to our parish community.  Parish staff and volunteers work hand in hand to create a weekend of food and fun for all; thank you so much for your example of what it means to be community.  A special thank you to Steve (and his family) for chairing, all chairs for each activity, and the parish staff for their strong support.  May God continue to call such lively and enthusiastic people forward and bless Our Lady of Joy Parish for years to come.

God Bless,

Gregory Callaghan, Pastoral Associate

Evangelization Quote:

"Mary, Virgin and Mother, you who, moved by the Holy Spirit, welcomed the word of life in the depths of your humble faith: as you gave yourself completely to the Eternal One, help us to say our own "yes" to the urgent call, as pressing as ever, to proclaim the good news of Jesus.  Mother of the living Gospel, wellspring of happiness for God's little ones, pray for us.  Amen, Alleluia!"

(Pope Francis, "The Joy of the Gospel" 288)

          Parish Mission Statement:

Our Lady of Joy Parish is a Catholic community of faith dedicated to Mary, the cause of our joy. We are centered in Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit and nourished by the Eucharist. We are a welcoming family, striving to see Christ in all and responding to the needs of the members of our parish and community. Called to act in faith, hope and love we seek to become a visible presence of Christ in the world.
